What are Innovative Services?

Why Choose RanchForeman?
Everyone on the RanchForeman team was raised in the horse business in one way or another. We know horses. Our formal educations, though, are in fields such as marketing, computer engineering, accounting and business. We each have two areas of expertise and we put them together – we are creative people who are good at what we do, and we know the horse industry.
How does it work?
We innovate for you! RanchForeman will find new ways to introduce you to your target customer. We then maintain, or help you maintain, the tools needed to get to know your prospective clients and generate new revenue streams. You keep operating your horse business, we will help make you famous for it!
Every project is different, but we do follow an outline to help keep everyone on the same page:
Step 1: Define Competitive Advantage - Determine the definite major purpose for your horse business.
Step 2: Develop Business Image - Design (or re-design if needed) logos, colors and slogans that represent your competitive advantage.
Step 3: Explore Business Strategies - Introduce you to options that could create additional revenue streams for your horse business.
Step 4: Develop Online Presence - Design and implement your presence on the internet. Web sites, Social Networks like Facebook and Twitter, Cloud Computing like YouTube, Flickr and Email for your Domain
Step 5: Begin Public Outreach - Design business cards and/or newsletters, email campaigns and provide content suggestions and best practices.
Step 6: Analyze Feedback - Public outreach, just as anything you do, should have success indicators. Take a breather and determine if these success indicators are being reached.
Step 7: Solidify New Business Strategies - Decide on new business strategies to be implemented. These should create new revenue streams and generate buzz.
Step 8: Develop Marketing Plan - DO NOT THROW AWAY YOUR MONEY. Decide on a budget. Select magazines and other publications carefully. Include features that allow ROI analysis.
Step 9: Analyze Efforts - Again, slow down and look over your success indicators. Are they being reached? What should you do less? More? Smile and enjoy your horse business improvement efforts.
Step 10: Stay in front of your target market! - Find a way to always be networking with your clients and prospective clients.
Why did we choose the horse business?
We have years of experience in the above services, but we have a lifetime worth of experience in the horse industry.
Our team here at RanchForeman, Ltd. has always been involved in the equine industry. Our family has ranched in South Texas since the original Spanish Land Grants of the 1830s and have raised performance Quarter Horses since the 1940s.
Prior to showing and promoting horses, our horses were used for work. They were necessary to work cattle, so good horses were required.
As the ranch’s horses became known for their toughness and cow-sense, a business began to build around horse production.
RanchForeman, Ltd. was founded in a very similar way. We designed a horse management software product to keep records for the horse operation at the family ranch. As other horse business professionals became familiar with the product, we saw an opportunity for a business.
RanchForeman.com launched in 2003 with the primary purpose to provide a software solution to horse businesses. As many businesses do, we evolved into a new niche market because of requests from our clients. That is how our innovation services were born – logos, web sites, business cards, ads, technology recommendations, etc. It became official in 2006. We are very excited to focus on our innovation services for the horse industry. And our recent partnership with Alua Software, the makers of Paddock Pro, enables us to continue to provide our clients with a fantastic horse management software program as well.
